Everything you need to know about BaseWorld
BaseWorld is an idle mining RPG built on Base Network. Choose from 6 unique planets, each with its own profession (mining, farming, fishing, woodcutting, hunting, alchemy). Mine resources, craft NFT tools, and trade on a player-driven marketplace — all with zero gas fees.
Mining is idle — you start a session and your character mines automatically over time. Different planets yield different resources. As you level up, you unlock rarer resources and more efficient tools. Your tools have durability and degrade over time, creating a healthy craft-and-replace economy.
$BW is the native utility token of BaseWorld. It’s earned through mining, used for crafting, trading on the marketplace, staking for governance power, and accessing premium planet features. Total supply is 100 million tokens with deflationary mechanics built in.
Yes! BaseWorld uses a Paymaster contract on Base Network that sponsors gas fees for players. You never need to hold ETH to play. Just connect your Coinbase Smart Wallet and start mining immediately.
BaseWorld is currently in development. When we launch, you'll just need a Coinbase Smart Wallet (created in seconds with just an email or passkey). No seed phrases, no ETH for gas, no complicated setup. Choose a planet and start mining.
NFTs represent your tools, crafted items, and land plots. Tools have real gameplay utility — a better pickaxe mines faster, a rare fishing rod catches rarer fish. All NFTs are ERC-1155 tokens on Base, tradeable on the in-game marketplace or external platforms like OpenSea.
The BaseWorld DAO lets $BW token holders vote on game development decisions — new planets, economic balancing, feature priorities, and treasury allocation. Stake your $BW to earn governance power and shape the future of the game.
BaseWorld is built on Base (Coinbase's L2), using audited smart contract patterns. We use Coinbase Smart Wallets with passkey authentication — no seed phrases to lose. All game contracts will undergo professional security audits before mainnet launch.
